Weston's Local Prevention Council, ADAP, offers a monthly Youth Wellness Council of rmiddle and high school students, as well as supports and sponsors programs to prevent and reduce substance use and misuse.
Weston Police Departmenthas a medication drop box in the lobby. You can drop off unused or expired medications any time, no questions asked. NIDA has a ton of information including drug facts, teen brain info., lesson plans, etc. HERE is the parent/educator website and NIDA for teens has good information directed at teens themselves!

The C.A.R.E.S Group: offers professionally facilitated free weekly support groups, & recovery resources for parents. Local meetings : 7-9 PM in Danbury on Mondays /Trumbull on Tuesdays /Shelton on Thursdays.
New Canaan Parent Support Group is dedicated to providing an inclusive and safe environment for parents of loved ones affected by addiction and substance use.
